“Fighting Davido Was My Biggest Battle Ever” – Ovations Publisher Dele Momodu Reveals

According to ace Nigerian Journalist and Ovations publisher, Dele Momodu in a video circulating online while speaking with his now ended fight with Nigerian music superstar, ‘his fight with him was his biggest battle ever that’s even bigger than fighting Abacha’.

Dele Momodu stated this in a new interview, where he further said;

“Fighting with David was my biggest battle ever. It was bigger than fighting Abacha because of the blistering popularity of David; he is an extremely popular guy and it was very unfortunate, (the devil is a liar) because a baby was involved; very beautiful girl, Imade.”

When it happened, I tried my best to avoid a collision with the family because I am very close to the family especially because of Senator Ademola Adeleke. We used to sleep in the same house when I was in exile in London. Whenever Sen. Ademola was around, he would call me and then pick me up to his house and I’ll sleep there and when I need to go back to my own house he would drop me.”

“So when the baby issue came, I didn’t know about it, if Sophie (Davido’s first Babymama) didn’t tell me she was pregnant, I wouldn’t have known, she was able to hide it perfectly from everyone.”

Recall that the fight started over a custody battle between Davido and his first baby mama, Sophie Momodu and Dele Momodu who is Sophie’s uncle had to step in. Davido who got angry that the ace Journalist got involved in the matter disrespected him while calling him out in his song in which he called the old man his ‘boy’. As we all know the whole fight was later settle, in an indoor meeting with the Adeleke’s and Momodu’s. And Davido even performed at one of the Journalist event where they both hugged each other on stage after his performance.
